Claydon Court offers high quality, low density shared office space. Converted from agricultural buildings and sympathetically extended over nearly three decades, we now provide carbon-neutral, flexible working property in an exceptional location. Offices have traditionally been leased as permanent space but we now have other options to reflect changes in working practice.

For people wanting flexible space we offer 80-20 Workspace leases i.e. people spend 80% of their time working at their home, 20% in their office.  With four days at home and only one day at work, your office had better be somewhere special.  And the Barn at Claydon Court certainly is, with extensive timbers, vaulted ceiling, recycled gym floor and views over our rear terrace and wildlife garden.

Our 80:20 Workspace concept allows up to five organisations use the Barn for one day each week.  Crucially, it is the same day each week to allow people get into a working rhythm.  And because the Barn is part of Claydon Court, it’s a place people will want to come to work in.

We’ve now extend this concept to offer Flexible Desks. This allows an individual to book one desk for one day per week, same day every week. There is a maximum of eight desks available and demand is expected to be very high.

The Barn has up to eight allocated parking spaces.  Visitors are welcome and we have six free-vend EV charge points. Tenants are encouraged to find fresh ways to travel to work such as car sharing and public transport.  Cycling and walking likewise with sheltered bike racks, lockers and shower facilities.

The Barn is fully furnished with fast WIFI, desks with power and USB sockets, a meeting table and a break space with sofas. Additionally, there is a separate bookable meeting room. Heating and cooling are provided by low-energy heat pumps. Tea and coffee are provided along with full access to the kitchen.

Claydon Court has been supporting tenants’ sustainability ambitions through carbon neutrality for nearly a decade.  Supporting flexible working has the potential for far greater impact.  Benefits accrue to employees who avoid commuting, employers benefit by cutting office costs by up as much as 80%.
