EPC Certificates have to be renewed every 10 years, and Claydon Court was re-assessed two weeks ago.

Very pleased to report that we’ve gone from a ‘B’ rating to an ‘A’ rating.  The improvement reflects the PV panels installed in 2019, and more the latest high efficiency sealed units installed in all courtyard windows.

This is good news for everyone. We are almost as energy efficient as it is possible to be, which means building energy costs are as low as it is possible to be.

The only way to improve property rating further and get to ‘A+’ is to become carbon negative by generating more renewable energy than we use. This means a wind turbine and battery storage which we will explore early next year.
