It’s 25 years since Neutral Territory moved into our Claydon Court HQ which is as good excuse as any to support the Suffolk 25 By 25 initiative. This was launched in May this year, and encourages businesses to reduce their carbon emissions by 25% by 2025. It’s a great idea, and there’s no reason why it can’t be expanded to voluntary organisations, amateur sport and other communities in the county.  

As part of its contribution to Suffolk 25 x 25, Neutral Territory is making the Barn at its Claydon Court HQ available for forward-thinking individual free of charge every Wednesday until 2025.  ‘That sounds a big commitment, but in reality we’ve only 65 weeks left,’ explained Richard Parker, ‘It will be tough to reduce emissions by 25% in that time, but by meeting and sharing ideas – both online and in person – we stand a chance.’

In return for joining the 25 By 25 programme, organisations get help to measure, offset and reduce their emissions through our Carbon Champions project. This has the obligatory carbon calculator, beefed up with a peer-reviewed environmental management system and underpinned with ideas from gamification and positive deviance to influence individual behaviour change.
