Using ‘champions’ better reflects what we’re trying to achieve using ‘the wisdom of the crowd’.  As the name suggests, the new enterprise is a Community Interest Company limited by guarantee.  As such it will explicitly be called Low Carbon Champions CIC to differentiate it from the earlier Suffolk CC venture.

This move also separates them legally from Neutral Territory which founded and funded them last year.  We will continue to provide continued financial support and use of Claydon Court as their base.
