Energy use in 2014 was slightly higher (0.2 tons) than 2013 but this was largely due to higher occupancy.  It’s hard to compare properly as weather obviously makes a big difference and we don’t measure this.   December was a LOT higher which suggests last year’s reading was unusually low.

Total carbon emitted was 38.2 tons and this will shortly be offset through the World Land Trust carbon balancing programme.  Efforts to reduce further will continue in 2015 including the possible generation of our own renewable energy.
