Like other small organisations, we were surprised and grateful for the government’s £10k small business rate grant earlier this year.   We’ve been fortunate to retain high occupancy, so are using this money to support local business … by buying things from them.

This includes moving heating / cooling pipework to improve insulation and free up space for re-wilding, moving sheds to free up space for Wildlife Zone, replacing sealed windows with opening versions to improve cooling in summer, changing locks to a keyless system and a renovation project to support flexible working.
