Use of chargers increased tenfold in the year from £12 in Dec 21 to £168 in Dec 2022. Overall use went from £344 in 2021 to £1,438 in 2022.  People clearly see these as a benefit, especially with current energy prices.

Analysing on a per session basis shows that type of use has stayed fairly static.  Average duration is 4 hours and charge is 4 kWh.  Other than August and September, cost has stayed at 24p per kWh but this is likely to return to 32.9 in April.  What has changed is the number of sessions from 3 in Jan to 49 in November and this explains the monthly cost increase.

We plan to install install more chargers for tenants this year.  We are already exploring wider community use here and will explain shortly. In meantime we will introduce monitoring to record how much each company uses to see if we need a fairer allocation.
