One of the things we’ve decided to tackle this year is cutting carbon from the stuff we buy, and encourage colleagues to do likewise. In quality systems this means creating a Sustainable Procurement Policy and is usually long, dull and costly.

Fortunately, anyone can now create their own and tweak it as many times as they like until it fits their needs – and for free. We are of course talking AI here, and the video below shows how this can work for you too.

The problem is, this is only useful if people actually do something with it. That means motivating people to take action, or NOT take action if pointless purchases are to be avoided. This is a far bigger challenge, and one that AI can’t help much with. Yet.
